Power Bi/Data Analyst

Company: Fortune 50 food & beverage company Title: Power BI / Data AnalystShift: 8am-5pm CSTLocation: Remote (Brazil)Pay Rate: 120-130 Brazilian Real Per HourStart date: Before 1/6/2025Required Skills & Experience- 5+ years experience as a PowerBI analyst and/or developer- Experience with PowerBI DAX (medium level expertise)- Advanced SQL skills- 1+ years of experience as a Data Engineer within the Azure tool Stack (Databricks , ADF, Synapse Analytics)- Ability to write, review and examine code written in Python and PySpark- Proficient in DevOps CI/CD (High level understanding)- Expertise in RDBMS- Fundamental knowledge of Data warehousing conceptsNice to Have Skills & Experience- Experience with other Azure services Azure Functions, Event Grid, etc- Strong expertise in writing complex sql and transformations.- SQL & SQL Tuning within Data Lake (Delta Format)Job DescriptionYou will be joining a fortune 100 client, within their Data & Analytics organization.
This team is responsible for Data ingestion, data visualization, and support.
This team operates as "support team for operations" and handles 24/7 requests.
They are seeking another individual to join their team to be able to provide support within 8AM-5PM CST.
There will be work during the weekends for a few hours that is on a rotation basis as well.Daily activities included but not limited to:Daily Responsibility:- Troubleshooting: Performing detailed analysis to identify the root cause of complex issues.-Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers, and provide updates on issue resolution.-Knowledge Base Management: Update internal documentation with new troubleshooting steps, known issues, and solutions for future reference.-Escalation to L3: Forward highly complex issues to the L3 support team for further investigation.-Reporting and Monitoring data pipelines
