Important: Don't forget to include a resumé in English in your profile in Workday.Please frequently check the email associated with your application, including the junk/spam folder, as this is the primary correspondence method.This Pricing Manager role is within the South America Merchandising team in Global Machine Pricing (GMP) and will serve as the leader for several key areas of merchandising support and metrics, significantly impacting Caterpillar, dealers, and customers.
What you will do: Supervise the team to support price activities including price generation, process improvements, and pricing operations.Analyze and forecast the profit impact and sales variance of proposed pricing actions while providing consultation to key business partners.Assist in managing total pricing procedures and compliance while ensuring timely responses to market business partners and conditions.Oversee the end-to-end operation and administration of the competitive pricing system and strategies.Handle high-level complicated analysis and problem solving.Guide your development and direct others' continual learning through on-the-job and professional training opportunities.Be responsible for all personnel issues and performance evaluations of the team.What you will have: Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in information technology, business administration, finance, economics, statistics, accounting, or related fields; 5-7 years of job-related experience; prior work experience in Pricing or a related job role.
Data Gathering & Analysis: Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from various stakeholders and sources to reach a conclusion.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Ability to analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment while keeping the "big picture" in mind.
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs.
Pre-advanced English and Intermediate Spanish are required.
