Your goal will be to enhance their depth imaging objectives using AspenTech's advanced velocity model building, seismic imaging, and seismic characterization technologies.
You will also conduct project work on behalf of the client.Your ImpactCollaborate with clients to solve complex subsurface imaging challenges using cutting-edge software and ensure successful project execution with high customer satisfaction.Work closely with AspenTech's senior technical team and the client's seismic processing team to optimize seismic data preparation for velocity model building and depth imaging.Regularly meet with key users to track project progress, share findings with AspenTech management, and deliver monthly activity reports, including user engagement and project milestones.Monitor contractual obligations, including billing, and proactively communicate gaps to management.Publish accurate and timely weekly and project reports.Act as a subject matter expert to ensure projects are completed successfully and on time.What You'll NeedBachelor's degree in Geophysics, Geosciences, or a Master's degree in Geophysics (preferred in lieu of experience).At least 8 years of experience in seismic processing and imaging, with 3+ years specializing in velocity model building and depth imaging in offshore environments.Expertise in narrow, multi-azimuth, wide azimuth, and Ocean Bottom Nodal seismic data.Proficiency in seismic processing and velocity model building software such as GeoDepth or equivalents.Advanced English communication skills; proficiency in a third regional language is a plus.Strong project management and leadership skills are desirable.Ability to travel minimally if required.This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your geophysical expertise to deliver impactful solutions and drive success for AspenTech and its clients.#J-18808-Ljbffr
