Principal Consultant
with a proven ability to tackle complex technical challenges, to join a fast-paced technical safety consultancy at the cutting edge of risk analysis techniques.

The Risk Management team in Brazil provides a wide range of advisory safety engineering and risk management services to the energy industry, for CAPEX and OPEX projects, in Brazil and other South American countries.
The
Safety Risk Principal Consultant
is expected to liaise with and support several customers and stakeholders in the upstream, midstream, and downstream segments, including regulatory agencies.
The Safety Risk Principal Consultant reports to the Asset Risk Team Leader and has the responsibility for project management and technical delivery of projects independently, and technical leadership of more junior consultants, besides enhancing our portfolio of services and areas of actuation with customer exposure.
The role includes customer interaction to discuss project schedule/delivery, technical issues, and solutions.

Position Qualifications
Graduated in Engineering (Chemical desirable), with at least
15 years
(mandatory).
Safety Engineering Post-Graduation or related.
Process Safety Management system (internal audits, training, critical analysis, performance standards – mainly in MoC, and Safety Critical Elements, ANP resolutions).
Qualitative risk analysis:
HAZOP, HAZID, BowTie, SIL/LOPA , experience in software related.
Knowledge and able to coach and do quality assessments in
Quantitative risk analysis : PSM, Ship Collision, Dropped Objects, Vulnerability (PHAST), QRA (SAFETI).
Experience in developing/implementing
Safety Case
(based on IADC, HSE UK and Brazilian Experience/ANP).
Experience in upstream, downstream, and midstream and eager to contribute more into energy transition space.
Knowledge related to Brazilian regulations (onshore and offshore) - IBAMA, NORMAM, ANP and NRs.
Proficiency with
Microsoft 365 tools
– Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and digitalization mindset.
Native in
Portuguese , fluent in
English , Spanish (very desirable).
Availability to travel.
