Join us in shaping our future – and yours.What you will doKenvue is recruiting a Principal Scientist (Specialist) for R&D Analytical to be based in São José dos Campos, Brazil. This individual will be part of the analytical team on LATAM Self Care OTC (over the counter) projects. The major responsibilities include supporting activities such as defining the analytical strategy, execution planning, timing, resource requirements and interdependencies to complete the project deliverables.This individual will support the analytical team and guarantee excellence in execution in all activities applied to Analytical Science in registration and post approval changes for OTC products.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport analytical strategy of projects and processes applied to Analytical R&D for Innovation Pipeline and Life Cycle Management of products in existing portfolio for LATAM.Guarantee high technical rigors for all deliverables from the analytical team considering new submissions and post approval changes for the following activities:Test Method Development (or adjustment to fit local regulation)Dissolution development and solubility studiesStability Studies to support new product development / post approval changesImpurity Assessments to fit local regulationAnalytical Transfer to Quality Control LabsPharmaceutical equivalence studiesPerform technical due diligence assessing analytical data from partners dossierEnsure excellence in the preparation of technical documentation and support 100% of deficiency letters from Health AuthoritiesAssessment of internal processes identifying opportunities and implementing improvements such as: organization of activities, redistribution of tasks, reduction of lead time and rework.Third-party laboratories studies tracking.What we are looking forRequired Qualifications:Education: A minimum of a bachelor's degree in chemistry, Chemistry Engineering or Pharmaceutical Chemistry. MBA or master's degree will be considered as a differential.At least 6 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in R&D Analytical.A strong analytical background in HPLC, UPLC, GC and other analytical techniques is required.Experience with method validation, analytical transfer, stability studies is required.Strong knowledge about the regulations and/or guidelines related to method development & validation for drug products, drug substance is mandatory for this position.Experience with COFEPRIS and INVIMA will be considered as a differential.Strong technical writing skills are necessary.Advanced level of English is required for this position.Intermediate or high level of Spanish is considered a differential.Position in a hybrid system.What's in it for youAnnual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $XXX to $YYY.
