Extensive experience with GCP (Functions, Cloud SQL, Buckets, GKE, Firestore, VPC, Cloud DNS, IAM, Instances) Proficiency in Linux OS Solid programming skills (IaC, Golang) In-depth networking knowledge (TCP/IP, firewalls, DNS, routing, etc.)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and best practices Understanding of CloudFormation and modularization practices Experience with Kubernetes (specifically GKE on GCP) and other container orchestration tools and facilitators Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, etc.)
and practices 2+ years of proven leadership experience Experience guiding teams through the entire migration process, ensuring timely delivery of expected results Upper-Intermediate+ English level Strong analytical skills, resilience, and excellent multitasking ability Desirable: Basic knowledge of AWS (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, Lambda, EKS, DynamoDB, IAM, CloudFront, VPC, R53) Spanish language knowledge Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including TDD and BDD practices Key responsibilities and your contribution In this role, you'll lead efforts to enhance the reliability and scalability of our fintech platform.
Your expertise in cloud infrastructure, security, and team management will drive the team's success, delivering excellent results for the client.
Define GCP leadership roles and create a RACI chart Set up centralized user access management and control policies Streamline onboarding/offboarding processes with JiraSM Review user access and IAM roles to ensure PoLP compliance Eliminate redundant GCP projects Establish a standard process to avoid project proliferation and outline guidelines for naming conventions, resource allocations, and configurations Remove excessive admin privileges Implement RBAC in GCP to assign permissions based on PoLP roles Create a folder structure in GCP to organize projects and define permissions Create management policies for key creation and deactivation Maintain an inventory of all keys (description, ownership, classification) Set up monitoring controls for key access and rotate service account keys Implement versioning and access control for service account keys Introduce BigQuery row-level access Implement data classification and data control in BigQuery What's working at Dev.Pro like?
