Our Operations and Procurement Team
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director to join our procurement team. This role focuses on managing the procurement processes and team members for indirect spend categories. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in procurement, finance, operations or accounting.
This position reports directly to the Vice President of Operations, and this is a remote work from home opportunity with flexible office space on demand.

How you'll make a difference:
Partner with stakeholders to develop plans that drive business results and communicate progress against that plan.
Manage, lead and develop a team of professionals to drive results for the business.
Track and report key functional metrics to improve financial results.
Capable of interpreting metrics and come up with creative ideas to improve metrics.
Engage legal and other internal stakeholders in policy and process updates.
Assess, manage, and mitigate risks.
Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies for indirect spend categories.
Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.
Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
Forecast price and market trends to identify changes in the market.
Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Have a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, finance or accounting.
10+ years of work experience in operations, procurement, finance or accounting, preferably in a large multinational corporation.
Strong preference for candidates with technology backgrounds including IT hardware and or software.
Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systems.
Have proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with excellent Excel skills.
Ability to gather, analyze and model data.
CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
