**LOCAL POSITION**: PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST
**MISSION**: Strategical act in Procurement department with strong cost oriented view, seeking for cost reductions opportunities on inland services, new business opportunities and improvements on yet existing services.
**SCOPE OF RESPONSABILITIES**:
Establish relationships with Internal Stakeholders and Suppliers to ensure attainment of organization objectives regarding inland services;
Analysis of procurement spend and supply base;
Accountable for driving communication and reporting to keep internal clients and management informed of progress and benefits;
Development of savings opportunities and benchmarking of industry standards and practices to identify quick win opportunities;
Innovative focus in development of new methods to negotiate inland services, bringing lower costs and higher efficiency;
Develop and manage KPI's;
Constant search for saving opportunities with new suppliers and existing ones;
Evaluate possibilities of synergies among GROUP, regarding inland services.
Contract Management of inland services (including the legal contract and basic documentation);
Negotiate contracts and frame agreements with all inland suppliers;
Support the manager/department in implementing new routines of supplier development, medium and long term negotiation, supplier follow up and procurement purchasing;
Monitor the industry and stay alert to new procurement tools and market best practices.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
**Degree**: Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics and related areas. MBA or post-graduation is a plus;
**IT and System Requirements**: MS Office with expertise on MS Excel. Previous experience with of E-cargo/LISA is a plus.
**Language**: Advanced English and Spanish is a plus
**Experience**: Minimum 5 years of experience in a related area, preferentially focused on inland services. Previous experience in maritime modal is a plus.
RELATIONS
Describe the main stakeholders (internal and external)
**Internal**: Intermodal Mercosul Line (Planning, Operations, Risk Management), Trade, Logistics Project, Legal, Multimodal CMA CGM and PROGECO;
**External**: Suppliers in general, maritime/cabotage entities, governmental departments (DNIT, ANTT, etc.).
