As a Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include:End-to-end portfolioAnalyzing rates versus benchmarks/baseline spend to identify opportunities for our future negotiationsManaging Request for Proposal (RFP) processes with external carrier partners to meet sourcing needs from the operationsCreating and onboarding new carriers for our network through processes such as EDI and velocityUpdating and maintaining rates across different sub-portfoliosCoordinating and leading mini bids throughout the year for different sub-portfolios by engaging with operations and procurement logistics peers to define needs and negotiate with carriers to adjust the network as requiredUpdating and managing carriers' contracts (MTAs) in C4U tool (legal tool in Unilever)Leading bids across the different sub-portfolios such as dedicated fleet, bulk, etc.System administration of within the UnileverSupplier evaluation and onboarding.This role is a key focal point with the operations team to manage volumes, rates, equipment types, commitment allocation levels, and carrier accountability to contracts.You're a born leader: You bring a level of creativity and perseverance to the table that people want to emulate. Act as an entrepreneur, treats business as his/her own, sets high expectations for oneself and follows through with strong levels of productivity.WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:Experiences & QualificationsMinimum Requirements:A bachelor's degree from an accredited university, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business.Fluent in the English language with excellent oral and written communication skills (the role is in English).Fluent or native PortugueseProven logistics experience (e.g., transportation, warehousing, procurement logistics).Ideally, have experience in Logistics (transport and/or warehousing, Procurement (ideally logistics), or bothWork on Eastern Standard Time (time zone).The ability to work in a fast-paced business environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability by managing numerous priorities concurrently; organizational and time-management abilities are a must.Strong technical skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and PowerBi.Demonstrated analytical aptitude with a validated ability to analyze/interpret data, with an emphasis on transportation cost modeling.Proven abilities in stakeholder management, with an emphasis on listening and influencing.Proven abilities in external partner management, with an emphasis on listening and influencing.Ideally, experience working with enterprise level logistics systems, such as a Transportation Management System, Yard Management Systems, or Warehouse Management System is required.Experience negotiating cost variables with transportation providers and Knowledge of the modes and key suppliers.Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree in business (MBA) or Supply ChainCertificates such as ASCM/APICS certification in CLTD or CSCP or CSCMP SC ProFormal negotiation training or experience is preferred but not required.SAP, Oracle TMS, JDA WMS, PowerBI, and Jaggaer contracting.SkillsAttention to details, thorough and diligent, should take pride in the quality of their work and deliverables.Proficiency in tools like Excel, PowerBI, and Power PointProactive, self-driven, ownership attitudePersonal desire and passion for learningCollaborative, team playerAdaptabilityAnalytical skills and critical thinkingLeadership:You are energized by delivering fantastic results.
