**About the Team**:
- The product design team helps understand user experience and propose visual designs and research tools to help launch products that meet customer needs.- As the Product Design Team Manager at Shopee, you will be responsible for managing a team of product designers to create intuitive and visually appealing user experiences for our platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and user needs, and leverage various product design methodologies and techniques to ideate, validate, and launch products that meet customer needs.**Responsibilities**:
- Manage and mentor a team of product designers to develop and implement design strategies that align with business objectives and user needs;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, data analysts, and business teams to understand business requirements and develop innovative design solutions;
- Ensure consistency and quality across all products and platforms by developing and proposing design systems, guidelines, and processes with local and regional team;
- Stay up-to-date with emerging design trends, tools, and technologies, and share insights with the team to improve design processes and workflows.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Design or a related field;
- 5 years of experience in product design, with at least 2 years in a leadership role;
- Proficiency in research and design tools such as Maze, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar;
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, including design thinking, human-centered design, and agile development;
- Experience with product design methodologies and techniques, including user research, rapid prototyping, design sprint and usability studies;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present design solutions and rationale to stakeholders at all levels.
