To achieve this vision we need an outstanding and passionate Product Designer to take on the following responsibilities: Contribute to high-level product thinking while also developing interaction flows, mockups, and prototypes. Collaborate in a cross-functional team to understand user needs and business goals, and translate them into intuitive and effective product designs. Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design concepts and gather feedback. Advocate for the needs and preferences of both doctors and patients by conducting user research and gathering feedback from both groups, and incorporating their insights into the design process to ensure the product meets the needs of all stakeholders. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design best practices, and the latest design tools and technologies to ensure the team is delivering high-quality, cutting-edge products. This person should share our core values of teamwork, empathy, and innovation. Ideally, they have the following: Know how to define a repeatable and shareable design process that encourages collaboration between design, product, and engineering teams. Ask questions that build or help to clarify the problem statement and ensure that you maintain user focus and empathy. Explore and refine concepts, then narrow to the best solution, weighing technical feasibility and scope with your team. Create and maintain UX and UI deliverables including information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, style guides, micro interaction specifications, and pattern libraries. Influence the product vision leading and participating in research, focused on both the intangibles (emotional needs) and tangibles (functional needs).. Champion usability testing within your product team, capture the team's assumptions, identify the correct test methodology to use, document results, communicate actionable feedback and findings back to the team. Communicate your design rationale to project stakeholders and use data to defend your design choices. Required Skills 2+ years of product design experience (including equivalent UI and UX focused role). Able to provide samples of work that show creative solutions to complex products, strong visual design, and information architecture. A strong understanding of the entire product development process, from research and problem solving through to detailed UI and visual design. Experience with Figma. Understand how modern technologies are used with design. Believe that product and design decisions are inextricably linked. Enjoy shipping small, quick experiments to explore and validate your ideas. Know how to balance the user experience with technical and business requirements. Able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders. Speak KPIs, OKRs and understand how to rely on data to support your work. Not afraid to learn new things to take on a problem. Are a self-starter who works proactively to solve problems and bring clarity to ambiguity Facilitate both design-focused and cross-functional sessions with ease, relying on your knowledge of facilitation tools and techniques Desired Skills Have an understanding of front end technologies such as HTML and CSS. Experience with Jira and Confluence. Prior experience in a design related role at a startup. Experience with digital health or relatable areas. Experience working with mobile apps.
