What you'll do:As a Product Development Analyst, you will enjoy a global team on the front line in the definition of the Consumer Experience Lab on the way to develop products related to food preparation categories. The Analyst will be responsible for the elaboration, execution, analysis, and documentation of laboratory tests on Food Preparation products. Most of the work will be around new product introduction but may also include ECI and quality improvement initiatives.
In detail, you will:
Carry out validation, development, and tests following international standards as well as internal Test Manuals;Run tests in order to complete test reports and analyze data to present findings to the R&D team;Use consumer insights and feedback to make relevant design decisions;Develop cooking appliances functionalities to meet performance, energy, and regulatory targets;Run Structural simulation and/or CFD through developing numerical models that describe the behavior of components, systems, and structural materials;Collaborate with other departments to support the research of current trends to identify opportunities that can generate more revenue resources and increase company profits;Provide ideas and plans to constantly improve cooking appliances functionality;Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis in close collaboration with R&D and Quality departments to continuously improve our consumer experience;Ensure alignment on test methodologies with other laboratories and relevant test institutes;Collaborate with business partners such as universities and external laboratories to find or develop new features and products.As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/C2W).
Who you are:You have:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering;Experience with CFD or FEM simulations;Experience with testing methodologies (DOE, statistical methodologies, or related);Knowledge of laboratory equipment, data acquisition systems, testing procedures, and data analysis methods;Knowledge of electrical/electronic components;Basic knowledge of electrical, gas, MWO laboratory, and test execution;Advanced Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project);Knowledge of Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus;Advanced English.Where you'll be:You will be based at the Guabirotuba plant in Curitiba. One of the focal points for all Latin American Electrolux operations, this plant is the base for over 3200 collaborators, all focused on transforming the way the world lives by shaping lives for the better with their work. It will be necessary to be available for national and international travel for up to 6 weeks at a time. Benefits include:
