What you'll do:
As a Product Development Engineering, you will be part of the LA Home Care and Small Domestic Appliances R&D, and will be in charge of identifying, developing and implementing alternative solutions and components for the Small Domestic Appliances portfolio. In detail, you will:
Specify and create components for new products, releasingtechnical documentation of components and mechanical subsystems inside the respective system (Teamcenter).
Lead the design process of module areas.
Lead, engage and manage multifunctional project teams to guarantee delivery according to goals in new product launches.
Manage new suppliers development in the national and international market.
Analyze competition movements, evaluating launch processes, performing benchmarking and teardown.
Promote continuous improvement to reach better results in efficiency and profitability, keeping clear communication across areas to establish and maintain a strategic plan.
As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/C2W).
Who you are:
You are:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Materials).
Master's degree is a plus.
Solid experience with product development projects.
Knowledge of engineering, manufacturing, and assembly principles.
Advanced English.
Intermediate Spanish.
Where you'll be:
You will be based at the Cidade Industrial plant in Curitiba. A focal point for manufacturing operations of the Home Care and Small Domestic Appliances production lines, it is the base for production teams focused on bringing Electrolux excellence to our consumer homes. Benefits include:
