WHAT YOU'LL DO:
We're currently looking for our new Product Development Engineer, who will work
alongside the Technology Domain team with CFD simulations, developing technical
solutions for air ducts modules, fans, compartments and other features within the
Food Preservation product line.

IN DETAIL, YOU WILL:
- Develop technical solutions for air ducts modules, fans, compartments and
features for Food Preservation products using numerical tools;
- Develop and analyze CFD models for Food Preservation products, including the
preparation, clean-up andvarious aspects of CAD files;
- Evaluate systems components, energy consumption results and products
thermodynamic performance through 1D simulations;
- Evaluate refrigerators and freezers test performance standards for several
markets;
- Evaluate energy consumption and performance results against energy efficiency
rating standards in global markets;
- Perform different types of tests on products using performance test chambers,
nozzle chambers and other tools;
- Participate in project teams and cooperate with cross-functional teams in an
international environment.
As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean
Thinking projects and activities (EMS/C2W).
WHO YOU ARE:
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical fields;
- Experience working with CFD simulations (StarCCM+, Ansys);
- Experience with experimental and/or laboratory environments, measurement
instruments and data acquisition systems;
- Experience with developing new simulation solutions;
- Proficiency with CAD software (preferably with CATIA V5);
- Advanced Office skills (Excel);
- Advanced English.
WHERE YOU'LL BE:
YOU WILL BE BASED AT THE GUABIROTUBA PLANT IN CURITIBA.
ONE OF THE FOCAL POINTS FOR ALL LATIN AMERICAN ELECTROLUX OPERATIONS, THIS PLANT IS THE BASE FOR OVER 3200 COLLABORATORS, ALL FOCUSED ON TRANSFORMING THE WAY THE WORLD LIVES BY SHAPING LIVES FOR THE BETTER WITH THEIR WORK.
IT WILL BE NECESSARY TO BE AVAILABLE FOR OCCASIONAL NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL TRAVELING.
