Real Time Payments
is a strategic initiative at Visa.
It allows cost-efficient instant transfer of money between accounts in alternative ways to the existing payment methods.
The hypothesis to be proven is that account-to-account payments (such as Pay-by-bank) can be the most optimal payment method for a set of segments and use-cases, while combining efficiently a suite of anti-fraud + risk capabilities as well as a seamless user experience, with ease of integration.
Capitalising on this opportunity will be key in transforming Visa's business model to capture new revenue opportunities.
Position Overview
The Product Director for Pay-by-bank at Visa Brazil is accountable for setting the product vision, strategy, roadmap, prioritisation, and product development execution.
This non-existent function within Visa's structure in Brazil will be tasked to drive new endeavours with velocity, by acting and building a team in an agile way of working (start-up mentality).
In addition to product building, this position will act as a bridge between Visa's global open banking technology (tink) and Visa's wider set of internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
As a Product Director for Pay-by-bank for Brazil, you will be expected to drive with accountability a successful launch of a new product category within Visa's portfolio, followed by scaling such product through a comprehensive roadmap and customer activation journey.
Acting as the main advocate for pay-by-bank with internal and external stakeholders will be part of the responsibilities.
Specific Areas of Accountability:
Provide deep understanding of the market and segments targeted, as well as competition.
Establish and articulate a product vision while engaging external and internal stakeholders.
Elaborate product strategies to anchor and achieve the defined vision: positioning, branding/marketing collaboration.
Define & maintain an ambitious domain roadmap aligned with the company's goals.
Articulate goals, priorities, and end-to-end delivery plans, including areas without full mandate.
Be the SIPOC and main subject matter expert within Pay-by-bank at Visa Brazil.
Lead a cross-functional organization to ship the Pay-by-bank product proposition.
Constantly update and manage product backlog and roadmap to improve product performance and customer satisfaction.
Customer engagement, activation & product improvement.
Assure customer insights and feedback are the foundation of the product roadmap.
Take responsibility for customer success and constantly drive improvements to better meet customer needs.

This is a hybrid position.
Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office.
Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
To be successful in this role you will need:
Payments product expertise.
Previous strong experience within payments products and market: deep context of payment methods, its pros and cons, and its market/segment fits.
Sharp vision on how pay-by-bank fits the Brazilian market.
Successfully driven B2B customer relationships.
Previous experience in Payments Initiation through Open Finance will be a high differentiation.
Solid previous digital product management experience: years of experience in a related field with product management experience including product conception as well as launching, building, and growing multiple products.
Experience working with cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Technology, and Data & Analytics.
Demonstrated ability to achieve strategic goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
Leadership skills: proven experience of delegating, motivating, growing the team, and nurturing company culture.
Proven talent catalyst: able to recruit, grow, and improve the team's performance.
Ability to engage diverse groups, including senior executives, and share Visa's vision and roadmap.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in Portuguese and English.
