Location: Brazil As the Network Product Manager for Local Payment Methods, you will be responsible for leading the product strategy and roadmap for our local payment solutions in your region.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Your focus will be on delivering best-in-class payment experiences tailored to different markets around the world.
You will do this by analysing which payment methods are best for different clients and building business cases for integrating them into the Boku platform.
You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including engineering, solutions architecture, and sales, to ensure that our product offerings meet the needs of both merchants and customers.
Product Strategy & Development: Define and own the product roadmap for local payment methods, driving innovation and growth in emerging markets.
Ensure product alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
Market Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, local payment preferences, and regulatory requirements.
Use insights to shape product features and strategy.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, solutions architecture, and sales teams to translate market requirements into product features and ensure successful product launches.
Client Engagement: Collaborate with merchants, payment providers, central banks, and partners to gather feedback and refine the product offering.
Act as the voice of the customer in internal discussions.
Regulatory & Compliance: Stay up to date with local regulations and compliance requirements to ensure that the product adheres to regional standards.
Performance Monitoring: Track and analyse product performance, utilizing data to make informed decisions on product improvements and scaling.
Technical Feasibility: Partner with Solutions Architecture and Engineering teams to ensure that proposed product solutions are technically feasible and scalable.
Custom Solutions: Support the Solutions Architecture team in designing custom payment solutions that integrate seamlessly with local payment methods.
Implementation Support: Collaborate with Engineering and Solutions teams to ensure that product features are implemented effectively and within timelines.
QUALIFICATIONS: 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably within the fintech or payments industry, with a focus on local payment methods.
Strong technical understanding of payment technologies, including account-to-account payments, APIs and financial messaging systems (SWIFT, ISO20022, MT and camt standards).
Experience working in global markets and with FX processes, especially across regions like Southeast Asia, Greater China, or Europe, and a deep understanding of local payment landscapes.
Proven track record of launching successful products and managing cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive results across different departments.
Preferred Skills: Experience in solutions architecture or working closely with engineering teams on payment integrations.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements in multiple regions.
Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments with multiple priorities.
Engineering background.
