**Product Research Manager / Consumer Health / São Paulo & Mexico City**

**MAIN PURPOSE**:
Enable the creation of remarkable consumer experiences through uncovering category insights and translating them into purposeful product solutions.
**YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO**:
- Grounded in science and data driven decision making, create and execute studies to inform and inspire our innovation product strategies and guide our development efforts in producing remarkable consumer experiences. (such as driver of liking and superiority benchmarking programs);
- Translate and bring to life research learning into meaningful product strategy data that acts as the blueprint for product user development. Able to converse and translate this data to the brand and product development team to enable scale up of the product experience innovation;
- Co mange within the PX HUB reviews of research partners to ensure high levels of quality are in place. With vendors who are attributed preferred status drive an annual engagement program which includes co creation of techniques, bespoke learning sessions and business partner engagement activities. These partnerships to drive enhanced quality of output, time and cost efficiencies;
- Be part of the Cat Architect team by being an integral Partner with Category development (Global /Regional) leads to define yearly product research learning plans;
- Identifying gaps, ensuring budget is secured from the end-to-end plan and execute with demonstratable ROI to the category innovation pipeline;
- Direct consumer engagement activities in accordance with the policies, procedures, ethics and protocols required by Bayer, Health Authorities and other relevant regulatory agencies;
- Act as coach by supporting the day to day activities of PX Consumer Scientists / technician, providing direction and technical support;
- Catalyze the adoption of Consumer closeness within product development through engaging and impactful consumer product story telling and communications, coaching consumer closeness techniques to upskill R&D.
**KEY WORK RELATION**:
- Direct report to Head of Product Research;
- Representation and daily interactions with XP Squad, Regional Design teams;
- Cross Functional Partners: R&D Development, Design & Packaging, Marketing, Market Research, Medical, Regulatory, Toxicology/ Safety, Quality, Sales Teams;
- External Partners: 3rd party sensory/market research, creative agencies, data analytics partners.
**ARE YOU READY FOR THE POSITION?**
**Must have**:
- Bachelors Degree (or equivalent.) or Master's Degree (or equivalent.) with robust experience in execution of consumer centric sensory and consumer science led activities both qualitative and quantitative;
- Prior experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams. Demonstrated ability to work across technical and commercial disciplines and influence stakeholders not in direct line of management;
- Strong presentation skills that can communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical colleagues;

- Ability to communicate effectively (written and spoken) in English and Portuguese or Spanish. Expected to participate in forums where these 3 languages will be used exclusively;

- Strong competency Enhanced data analytics experience desirable.
