Based out of Belo Horizonte, you will play a key support role for customers of our intuitive open-pit mine planning solution, Micromine Alastri. In this role you will be responsible for delivering high quality pre-sales and support activity, including technical product demonstrations, tenders, proof of concept model builds, software evaluation, campaigns, promotions, conferences and events etc.Reporting directly to the Technical Services Manager- Mining, your key responsibilities will include:Assist the sales team by providing technical support during pre-sales demonstrations, trade shows, and other promotional events as requestedDeveloping and maintaining long-term customer relationshipsCreate and present strategic technical demonstrations to customers with a solution and value focusProvide our clients with telephone, email and face to face supportProvide training to current and new software users.Such training may take place at a client's site, or at a third-party venue such as a university computer laboratoryLiaise with the product development team and software users during the software design cycle.This may involve canvassing users to determine the functionality of a new component, and then writing a design brief for the product development teamServe as the subject matter expert for open-pit mine scheduling for Micromine in BrazilAbout YouYou will have a background within operational mining roles, and/or have experience working for a mining technology company.Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:A tertiary qualification in Mining EngineeringExperience with Open Pit miningExperience with mine planning and scheduling.Experience with using general purpose mining software.The ability to travel, nationally or internationally, to manage Micromine Alastri implementationsEnglish (conversational/professional fluency) and Portuguese (native fluencey) speaking skillsNext StepsReady to join the Micromine team?
