We seek a Production Planning and Logistics Manager responsible for ensuring the efficient internal supply of production lines and guaranteeing the timely, cost-effective delivery of products to leading manufacturers of light and heavy vehicles. This role involves overseeing and managing planning and logistics operations, playing a critical role in optimizing the supply chain by ensuring that production lines are consistently supplied with the necessary materials while coordinating the seamless delivery of finished products to major automotive manufacturers.

Main responsibilitiesProduction Planning: Develop, implement, and oversee production schedules to ensure optimal efficiency and on-time delivery. Align production output with sales forecasts and customer requirements.Material Supply Management: Ensure the consistent and timely supply of raw materials and components to the production lines, coordinating with procurement and suppliers to minimize downtime and production interruptions.Logistics Coordination: Manage logistics operations, including warehousing, distribution, and transportation, to ensure smooth product flow from production to delivery.Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels to balance supply chain costs while meeting production demands. Implement strategies to reduce excess inventory and avoid shortages.Supplier and Customer Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, transport providers, and customers to ensure the smooth operation of the supply chain and resolution of any logistical challenges.Team Leadership: Lead and develop the production planning and logistics team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.Process Improvement: Drive process optimization initiatives, utilizing lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve delivery performance.Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all logistics and production operations comply with company policies, industry regulations, and environmental standards. Provide regular performance reports and KPIs to senior management. Requirements and skillsBachelor's degree in engineering with an extension in Logistics / Supply Chain Management.Proven experience in production planning and logistics in the automotive sector.Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.Excellent leadership and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems.Fluency in English.
