BW Energy is currently searching for an offshore production superintendent to join our team at FPSO Cidade de Vitória.
We are looking for a talented d professional who can: Manage and control the Production Department to ensure the safe and efficient functioning of all process facilities and operations; Responsible for meeting production objectives within the given design parameters complying with Client production and injection plans, but always within the context of a safe operating environment; Responsible for planning Production Department maintenance activities in cooperation with OIM and other Department Heads; Use the Computerized Maintenance Management System.
Review the information in database to ensure it is technically valid, accurate and up to date.
Responsible for maintaining process plant discharges and emissions within the limits; Verify and review the Company's Policies and procedures through the Offshore Management Review; Develop and revise procedures and standing instructions for the Production Department; Ensure the Permit To Work system is controlled and adhered to as per requirements of the system; Ensure regulatory and class requirements are adhered to; Responsible for sufficient stock of relevant consumables; Responsible for control of hazardous substances that are used/ stored within the Production department; Responsible for the relevant Risk Assessments; Participate in the investigation of accidents and incidents.
Administrate Company reporting system report; Liaise with OIM and other Department Heads for the planning of maintenance and operation activities; Liaise with Client for production planning; Liaise closely with onshore management, TMS, and HSSEQ; Participate in pre-commissioning and commissioning.
Responsible that vendors and contractors are managed safely and effectively; Undertake training relevant to the position requirements; Responsible for the training of subordinates and trainees; Responsible for competency assessment and performance evaluation of subordinates including providing regular feedback; Help shape a healthy corporate culture on board, proactively thinking communication and about maintaining a positive working environment Prepare budget and control expenditure; Prepare and administer required reports.
Maintain appropriate documentation; Member of Emergency Response Team.
Requirements Education & Certification Ideally a degree in Chemical Engineering or similar, but lack of formal education may be compensated by long relevant experience.
Preferably FPSO or offshore platform experience Advanced English Experience Ideally seven years experience in the Oil and Gas industry with two years in the supervisory position
