**Job Description Summary**:
**Main Responsabilities**:
- Own process from cost-out ideation to operational execution and financial materialisation for Hydro projects in their respective region.
Own the weekly execution and accountability on the Projects cost out ideas.
- Work cross functionally to drive project specific cost reduction ideas.
This may include, but is not limited to the following:
- Project specific margin accretion ideas across all functions
- Project management, Engineering, Supply Chain and Construction & Commissioning productivity
- Functional cost out and Hoshin Kanri workstreams awareness and ensuring they get systematically applied to specific projects and bids, Ensure Feedback of Experience of cost-out from OTR to ITO bids
- Contribute to Regional Project Management team and finance team activities related to policy and guidelines for estimating EAC (estimate at completion).
Validate adherence to this process across the global project organization
- Ownership and validation of quarterly and annual EAC rollups for the Project.
- Support cost control and regional implementation of early warning indicators of budget slippage and proactive risk mitigation
- Collaborate with own team and Process Governance leader to ensure smooth change management covering best practices, process improvements, lessons learned, and corrective actions identified are documented, communicated, and implemented
**Required Qualifications**
- bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, or related technical major.
- Proven cross-functional leadership, ability to lead and connect in matrix organization
- Fluent in English and Portuguese
