The Professional Veterinary Consultant (PCV) is part of the Veterinary Affairs Team (PVA) being responsible for executing an integrated program to strengthen our engagement with the Veterinary Community aiming to achieve Vet recommendation and convert into sales. The position is responsible for identifying, engaging, visiting and building relationships with veterinary doctors, animal scientists and veterinary/ animal science schools, educating and influencing professors, residents, and students. It has a highly influential role as the 'face of Hill's' with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and relevant hospitals/clinics, being responsible for executing engagement plans with the veterinary community and key pet shops. The role plays a crucial part in educating and training partners (distributor staff), stores, clinics, hospitals, as well as the Hill's field team. The PCV is also responsible for developing and implementing a regional event strategy to maximize reach and effectiveness. Main Responsibilities: Define and execute visit schedules for veterinarian clinics and hospitals following the right coverage and frequency. Identify, engage and actively visit relevant clients (veterinarian clinics and hospitals) providing nutritional education; Create and implement strategic initiatives to maximize reach and effectiveness of our products; Identify and build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in order to strengthen our brand on the ground; Visit strategic pet stores connected to veterinarian clinics aiming to assure product availability of key assortment; Participate in Hill's external events at national/regional/specialized conferences building relationships, providing insights to veterinarians and influencing conference attendees to recommend and sell Hill's products; Support sales through continuous training of the field team (Distributor and Hill's teams) and act as a technical liaison (in-person or virtual); Work closely with sales team (BDEs and Distributors') to develop plans to address regional opportunities focusing on leverage Hill's presence and sellout; Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports related to visits, training sessions and events, highlighting the quantity and quality of actions taken; Implement a holistic veterinary students strategy, considering different profiles and appropriate tools; Create annual plans with relevant universities aiming for engagement and provision of technical materials and professional support (lectures, seminars, etc.); Develop and provide continued education for veterinary students, fostering an interest in clinical nutrition; Deliver lectures during academic weeks, discussing themes or cases – conduct groups studies or classes for students, residents, or graduate students; Manage Hill's student representatives, ensuring they are aligned with the overall strategy and capturing opportunities within Veterinary universities. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine; Master's degree, residency, or postgraduate studies within veterinary area; Experience in the pet market; English skills (intermediate) - (Desirable); Driver's license B; Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
