The Professional Consulting Veterinarian Supervisor is part of the Veterinary Affairs Team (PVA) and is responsible for leading the team in executing the integrated program to strengthen our engagement with the Veterinary Community.
The role is responsible for developing and implementing a strategic rationale, as well as guiding the team to identify, engage, visit, and build relationships with veterinarians, animal scientists, veterinary and animal science schools, educating and influencing professors, residents, and students.
It is a highly influential role as the 'face of Hill's' with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and relevant hospitals/clinics, being responsible for leading engagement plans with the veterinary community in the designated region.
The PCV Supervisor plays a crucial role in educating and training partners (distributor teams), stores, clinics, hospitals, as well as the Hill's field team.
This role is also responsible for developing and implementing a strategic rationale for regional events to maximize reach and effectiveness in generating demand and conversion to sales.
Main Responsibilities: Team Management: Manage the team of PVCs who conduct visits to veterinarians, ensuring they are well-trained and informed about the products; Scheduling: Create and maintain visits schedules to optimize coverage and efficiency; Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and professional development to the team to ensure they are knowledgeable about the latest product information and effective presentation techniques; Strategy Implementation: Develop and execute strategies to effectively promote and present technical products to veterinarians, aligning with broader company goals; Communication: Act as a liaison between the team and upper management, relaying important information and updates; Performance Monitoring: Track and evaluate the performance of the team, providing feedback and implementing improvements where necessary; Resource Allocation: Ensure that the team has the necessary materials and resources for successful visits; Relationship Building: Foster and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and stakeholders; Reporting: Generate, analyze and provide detailed reports on the results, activities and outcomes of the team; Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends and competitive products, providing insights to the team to enhance their presentations and strategies.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine; Master's degree, residency, or postgraduate studies within veterinary area; Experience in leadership role; Experience in the pet market English skills (intermediate); Driver's license B; Knowledge of Microsoft Office/Google tools.
