Founded in 2000 by Silicon Valley entrepreneur, Dr. Romesh Wadhwani, today the Foundation is scaling impact in 25 countries across Asia, Africa, and Latin America through various initiatives.
Wadhwani Foundation is looking for experienced individuals from the skilling ecosystem for the position of Program Manager. This position will be responsible for delivering effective and sustainable projects through partnerships with institutions and employers to achieve the mission of the foundation. Additional responsibility would be to monitor results, including jobs obtained by the students trained from various partners.
The Program Manager will lead the development, implementation, and management of various large-scale educational projects. This role involves working with thousands of students and ensuring their successful journey towards graduation. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, dynamic, and innovative leader with proven project management skills and a deep understanding of the educational sector.
RequirementsKey Responsibilities: Design, plan, and implement educational projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and achieving their objectives.Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the educational projects, including resources, risks, and issues.Coordinate with a diverse team of educators, administrators, and support staff to ensure smooth project execution and student satisfaction.Drive student engagement and success strategies, focusing on improving student retention and promoting graduation.Develop and maintain relationships with all stakeholders, including students, faculty, administrators, and partners.Regularly review and report on project progress, proposing adjustments as needed to ensure success.Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.Provide learning facilitation for direct-to-students or direct-to-faculty batches, if and when required. This includes conducting seminars, workshops, and individual guidance sessions as needed.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.Proven experience as a Program Manager or Project Manager, preferably within the educational sector.Experience in managing large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders.Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of driving teams towards success.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.Proficient in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.Familiarity with educational regulations and standards.Exceptional problem-solving, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the educational environment.Updated with the latest methodologies and research within the EdTech and training domain.
