Our Vision.SBM Offshore believes the oceans will provide the world with safe, sustainable and affordable energy for generations to come.We share our experience to make it happen.Our Profile.We design, build, install and operate offshore floating facilities for the offshore energy industry.As a leading technology provider, we put our marine expertise at the service of a responsible energy transition by reducing emissions from fossil fuel production, while developing cleaner solutions for renewable energy sources.More than 7,000 SBMers worldwide are committed to sharing their experience to deliver safe, sustainable and affordable energy from the oceans for generations to come.Together, we are driving progress forward in a #OGJSROLE PROPOSE The Project Control Engineer leads the implementation and the timely completion of specific tasks as reporting project status, highlights the project execution performance, estimates and forecasts the remainder of the project, evaluate and highlights risk and opportunities, as assigned by the Project Controls Manager, in accordance with both the contractual and SBM internal requirements.ROLE CONTRIBUTION Deliver reporting / progress measurement / performance measurements / forecast metrics as required Ensure effective communication across various internal Projects' members to allow the timely exchange of the information required to perform assigned tasks; Ensure that delegation throughout the team enables quick and well-informed decision, making while maintaining an appropriate level of control; Support the PMT members to remain focused on Project Objective.REQUIREMENTS Degree in Project Engineering or similar; Minimum 7 years of experience in this function; Knowledge in various areas such as Budget, Forecast, Planning, Reporting and Risk analisys; Experience with Project Management; Experience with Brownfield Projects is an advantage; Certification in PMP or Postgraduate in Project Management is an advantage; Advanced English.
