The Project Controller is primarily responsible for working as a support point for the Operational, Financial and Sales teams to ensure financial control over project costs are maintained throughout the execution, from set-up to close-out, of each project. The Project Controller will work with all Operational functions to ensure adequate tracking of project revenues through the monitoring of the project budget or contracts as the scope of work progresses.The successful candidate will be based in the Rio de Janeiro area.Please submit Resumes/CVs in English.DutiesResponsible for financial control of projects including actuals of cost and revenues as well as its monthly forecast, annual budget and for the project cash flow.Project Accounting analysis & reconciliation.Responsible for the monthly revenue and cost accruals related to project work.Controls the projects billings and accounts receivables.Engage directly with sales and operations to manage project tracking at a project level and aggregate level to ensure proper costing and forecasting of activity (including revenue, costs, and cash).Advise on any potential issues relating to project cost or revenue, specifically, any significant deviations from forecast or budget.Assist project teams to ensure variation control, specifically, ensuring that costs associated with additional work that is not part of our contract is being captured and invoiced accordingly.Liaise with project teams to ensure all sales invoices are raised and payments expedited in a timely manner.Support the Project Manager with the PMR preparation and report.Supports the tender manager on financial aspects. Provides input to negotiations on commercial issues. Provides input in local risk review process.Preparation of business cases and financial feasibility analysis when required.Work with Financial Manager to ensure revenue forecasts and costing is in place to properly input forecasts into the corporate projections' files.Support the Finance team with the closing month process and in assisting with audits.Maintain accurate files in accordance with agreed standard file structure to ensure ongoing data integrity and compliance.Assist to ensure complete audits of project costs are actioned as required.Interface with the finance team at all stages of the project to ensure consistency of information with reporting costs to complete and cash flow forecast.Adhere strictly to the Company's policies including, but not limited to, anti-bribery and Foreign Corrupt Practice.RequiredBachelor's degree in Accounting; Business administration or Economy.5 years' experience as Project Controller in Oil & Gas industry for EPCI contracts.Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial rules and processes.Knowledge in IFRS 15 and POC methodology and application.Strong MS Excel skills.Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.Trustworthy and Ethical.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Advanced level in English, both written and spoken.Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others.Ability to competently and professionally present financial reports in meetings with stakeholders, as well as identify and mitigate operational concerns.Ability to work both independently and within teams.
