Two divisions – Santos Energy Solutions and Santos Upstream Gas and Liquids – are accountable for global portfolio management and strategy.About the RoleBased in the Santos Brisbane office, this role plays a pivotal part in supporting the Greenfield Development activities within the Onshore Development Execution team. This role provides engineering support to the Cooper Basin Project team, assisting with the delivery of both short- and long-term projects that contribute to the Well Delivery Development Program.Key accountabilities include:Ensuring engineering scope, activities, and decision-making outcomes are aligned with project objectives and strategies.Frame, support and mature key project technical decisions.Ensure key project development deliverables are developed in line with the Santos Opportunity Delivery Process.Due diligence in the early project phases to ensure the project scope, schedule and estimate are defined appropriately.Support integration of technical and non-technical work fronts into key project deliverables and documentation.Manage engineering scopes performed by external service providers ensuring quality, safety, schedule and cost meet required standards.Ensure effective stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.About YouHolding a tertiary qualification in Engineering and ideally Project Management Qualifications, it is essential that you have demonstrated experience with conventional and/or unconventional oil and gas production in development and operations phases, along with extensive experience in engineering and/or project engineering related roles.Further to this any experience in the following will be looked upon favourably:Exposure to project delivery processes from Define to Execute phase.Experience with greenfield projects and the associated complexities.Good understanding of hydrocarbon production systems, gathering networks and processing facilities including produced water management.Track record of applying technically innovative solutions to complex development challenges.RPEQ and/or CPEng.Experience pending, this role may also be hired as a Senior Project Engineer.
