Job Description:Responsible for performing systems engineering and field services based on Drive Systems/AC and DC Drives, programmable controllers (PLC / PAC), HMIs, instrumentation, etc.;
Responsible for the development stages of automation systems: requirements gathering, detailed technical documentation/design, hardware specification, software programming, factory testing, and commissioning/start-up at customer sites;
Design moderate to complex architectures for new projects and analyze existing systems for intervention;
Be part of a project team implementing solutions, with flexibility to travel, adapt quickly to changes, and accept challenges;
Have a multitasking profile and involvement in simultaneous projects, whose main attributions will be the execution of software design engineering services, programming, testing, and implementation at the clients' site.
Basic Requirements:Bachelor's or Associate degree in Engineering (Industrial/Electronic/Electrical Automation or equivalent);Advanced communication in English - oral and written;Knowledge of industrial communication networks and protocols and experience with VMWare virtualization environments;Technical certifications;Availability for travel and work at the customer's premises;Proven experience as an Industrial Automation Engineer, in software projects for drive systems (AC and DC Drives, PLC, Automation Software, and Industrial Components);Previous experience in industrial automation projects in drive systems for the areas of steel, mining, or pulp and paper and suspended loads;It will be a plus for professionals with knowledge and experience in projects in the steel industry, who know drive system concepts such as unwinders, winders, bridles, accumulators, speed, and torque control loops;Experience with systems engineering and field services based on AC and DC Drive Systems/Drives.We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity, or expression.
