Global insurance and asset management company seeks a responsible, organized, dynamic and team-oriented person.
Main responsibilities
Deep and extensible delivery experience who are adept at managing multiple concurrent projects;
Initial work priorities would include leading efforts to deploy Microsoft Teams Journaling solution for users falling under FINRA classification (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority);
Facilitate seamless delivery and drive collaboration across cross-functional project teams;
Manage project SDLC documentation following business standards (i.e.
Team Working Agreement, Agile Release Report, Status Reports, meeting minutes, risks, issues, decisions);
Monitor progress of deliverables, quality, proactively identifying risks, issues and escalation as needed with appropriate leadership;
Create and maintain plan in MS Project Server; includes budget & forecasting, accruals, invoice mapping, and ensuring resources have appropriate time tracking buckets setup to bill time.
Project Server is our core resource planning and financial management tool;
Proactive leadership and monitoring to identify and mitigate critical path or resource issues;
Partner with the team in creating a communication plan that includes stakeholder communication, change management for rollouts, and internal team meeting interfaces;
Partner with functional resource managers to ensure work efforts are effectively resourced;
Follow business release management process to schedule and manage delivery releases;
Interface with stakeholders to manage expectations & escalations;
Guarantee compliance with business delivery processes and standards.
Requirements and skills
Broad delivery management knowledge and experience spanning traditional project management methodologies in addition to lean agile practices;
Strong communication and influencing skills;
Knowledge and understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle);
Highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Project Server;
Experience in formal techniques of risk management;
Excellent organizational skills;
Experience collaborating and providing project leadership in cross-functional teams;
Excellent relationship management skills;
Experience in change management;
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience;
5+ years of IT delivery management experience;
PMP certification or other formal project management training preferred.
