Project Manager Job Description Overview: Step Labs is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage the successful delivery of Shopify development and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) projects.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in project management, with a strong understanding of web development and CRO principles.
The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining effective communication with clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Execution; Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation Coordinate project kickoff meetings and ensure all stakeholders are aligned on project objectives and deliverables Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely delivery Manage project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues Client Communication and Relationship Management Serve as a point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle Conduct regular status meetings with clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships Manage client expectations and ensure project deliverables align with their requirements Team Management and Collaboration Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and CRO specialists Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their skills and availability Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the resources and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality work Ensure that team members are following the SOPs correctly Quality Assurance and Deliverable Review Establish and maintain quality standards for all project deliverables Review and approve deliverables before presenting them to clients Ensure all deliverables (e.g.
the Monthly Roadmap) meet the agreed-upon specifications and requirements Coordinate with the QA team to conduct thorough testing and bug fixes before project launch Budget and Resource Management Develop and manage project budgets to ensure projects are delivered within the allocated financial resources Monitor project expenses and make necessary adjustments to optimize cost efficiency Allocate and manage project resources Process Improvement and Documentation Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project analyses Contribute to the development and refinement of internal project management methodologies and best practices Auditing and Performance Evaluation Conduct daily audits to ensure project progress is accurately reflected in project management tools Monitor and support developers with daily client updates.
Monitor client roadmaps to ensure milestones and deliverables are being met Verify that design and development teams are adhering to established checklists and SOPs Analyze client analytics to identify potential churn risks and proactively address concerns Assess the rapport between clients and development teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration Evaluate the prioritization of tasks by the development team to ensure alignment with project objectives Monitor the usage of design and development libraries to promote consistency and efficiency Growth Trajectory: The Project Manager role offers significant opportunities for growth within the company.
