Schneider Electric is seeking innovative and highly-skilled, personable professionals who are passionate about Smart Grid technology.
Candidate will join to the Digital Grid (DG) Business Unit (BU).
This Business Unit is responsible for Customer Projects Delivery, among other solutions, of ADMS and GIS Solutions developed by Schneider Electric as part of EcoStruxure Solution Suite for Utilities.
As a Project Manager, Leads assigned PCT ( Project Court Team), in accordance with established PM methodology and best practices.
Ensures that a project scope is delivered on time, within approved budget, and to the required quality standards fulfilled (within agreed specifications).
Project manager presents the main communication point and contact point of RSC (Regional Solution Center) to other organizations.
In case when acting as overall (End2End) PM, he/she presents main communication point and contact point of SE, and acts in accordance with responsibilities of DG End2End PM.
Responsibilities: • Read and understand available project documentation (SoW, RFP, ToC), in project preparedness phase.
• Foster an environment that supports teamwork to achieve project objectives.
• Develop and maintain a detailed project plan (all project artifacts, including but not limited to project schedule).
• Monitor the progress against the project plan and SoW.
• Manage costs, schedule and deliverables.
• Owns end-to-end cost planning on the project, organizes and leads cost planning monthly events with the PCT.
• Actively participates in preparation for-, and execution of-, Monthly project review event owned by Finances Controlling department.
• Participate in Steering Committee meetings.
• Run risk management and develop mitigation plans.
• Manage and lead the project core team members for project activities.
• Coordinate team members' day to day project activities in support of RSC efforts.
• Run regularly scheduled project status meetings and generate periodic status reports.
• Communicate and make decisions with customer project manager(s) only, not with customer SMEs.
• Communicate all requests, issues, information detected by project core team to solution center, front office, customer project manager.
• Communicate the status and issues (internal and external) of project to RSC stakeholders on weekly level.
• Communicate the status and issues (internal and external) of project to project core team members.
• Assure that all decisions are communicated properly within the entire PCT.
• Communicate and run mitigation plan • Track and manage project issues identified by customer, project core team, project manager.
• Escalate project issues (internal and external) when needed.
• Run change management process • Run change order process (CO), after scope modification is agreed and approved by project core team members and customer SMEs.
• Monitor project bug fixing progress and identify issues and risks with the team.
• Monitor development progress through available tools and identify issues and risks with the team.
• Participate in Business gate for FAT/SAT/Go-Live milestone.
Qualifications: • Bachelor of Engineer (Electrical, Eletronic, Automation, System, Computers,etc...) • Advanced english skills • Spanish language is a plus • Team (people) management experience • Project Management experience in large projects.
• Hability to lead a multi cultural and multi countries team • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with all levels of an organization • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills • MBA in Project Management and / or PMP certificate Looking to make an IMPACT with your career?
