Education and Experience:
· Fluent Portuguese and English (written an spoken) is required;
· Bachelor's degree in engineering or scientific discipline;
· Demonstrable track record in similar positions in senior project management roles;
· Experience in project roles for hydrocarbon, petrochem and/or power generation.
Required Skills:
· Project management for Petrobras projects, including first hand knowledge of Petrobras standards and performance criteria;
· Demonstrable understanding and experience leading safe working practices on major industrial construction projects;
· Proven ability to form and lead high performance teams;
· Excellent organizational ability and commitment to making decisions and meeting deadlines;
· Strong communication and proficient presentation skills;
· Knowledge and appreciation of critical business support activities (legal, commercial, cost control, planning, document control);
· Qualifications for offshore travel.
Activities:
· Lead the team in monitoring and managing all facets of work to ensure that schedule, cost / budget, technical, quality and HSSE requirements are met or exceeded;
· Establish the Project Execution Plan, HSE Management Plan and a Quality Management Plan, ensuring content of each plan and expectations are communicated to the team and aligned with GISEC and Client expectations;
· Prepare, issue and closely manage spend in compliance with approved budgets;
· Establish an accurately defined schedule for all phases of work and maintain status throughout;
· Maintain up to date history of the cost and planning evolutions in the course of the project, prepare justifications to support any change request implying cost and planning impact;
· Review and control contractor(s) execution plans to ensure compliance with the contract requirements, identify and ensure necessary adjustments implemented;
· Ensure adequate contractor and Company organization to manage all procurement activities linked to the project maintaining traceability and quality;
· Accountable for the implementation of the adequate construction team(s) on the construction site(s) to supervise and monitor construction activities and control construction contractor(s) progress;
· Bring to earliest attention of the Executive Director any issues which present a significant threat to the Project and offer mitigating measures / work plans;
· Provide timely and accurate reporting to the Executive Director and Client to avoid surprises and ensure continued support;
· Define, monitor and manage work tasks with external consultants and contractors as required.
· Lead 'lessons learned' sessions and provide feedback to other Chouest/GISEC divisions and executive leadership.
Location: Rio de Janeiro, Centro. Availability for travel is required.
