The Project Quality Engineer is responsible for all of the Project Quality requirements on the Project as per the Clients requirements liaising with the fabrication site and coordinate inspections. They will be the point contact for the Suppliers for Quality on the Project and interact with other disciplines, Engineering, Supply Chain and Project Management.General Responsibilities:Review and approval of project specific Supplier Quality and manufacturing documents Track, manage and resolve project nonconformitiesEnsure Client Quality requirements are met as set forth in Client SpecificationsInspect or support assigned inspectors to ensure pressure vessels, equipment, piping and structural fabrications are to code and project requirementsEnsure alignment of inspection and expediting activitiesReview and approval of Supplier manufacturing recordsPreparation of Project Specific Quality DocumentsPerform Supplier Audits Review and approve Supplier deviation requests / disposition technical queries related to QualityCoordinate with Vendor, Customer & TPI for the predefined inspection, witness and hold points per project ITPsReview of the final documentation package approvedSupport Internal AuditsWorking with global Quality teamsUndertaking training as requiredExperience/Requirements:Required: Knowledge of the design and fabrication requirements of packaged process unitsBe able to read fabrication drawings for pressure vessels, piping, and structural fabricationsKnowledge of ASME and AWS welding requirementsKnowledge of inspection and NDE requirementsMust be able to communicate in a professional manner Ability to review project and customer technical specifications and incorporate the requirements into Project Quality Plans and ITP'sExperience with Supplier surveillance and the review of Quality documentation such as WPS/ PQRs, NDE reports, various test reports and material certificates Ability to read PFD's and P&ID'sCompetency in pressure vessel and structural welding preferredWorked with a medium to heavy manufacturing facility with machining, welding and assembly processesKnowledge of various materials of construction.Experience in oil, gas and water processing projects for the oil and gas industry Required to be fully numerate and computer literate (MS Office)Good communication skills at all levels of the businessDesired:Quality AuditingISO 9001:2015 experienceCSWIP or similar qualificationPractical minded Self-motivation, initiative and committedAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionPay Transparency RequirementsThe compensation and reference to benefits for this role is listed on this posting in compliance with applicable law. The anticipated salary range for this position is $70,000 - $ 100,00 annualy.
