Property Finance Consultant Durban (Kloof) Job Purpose:To actively prospect potential home loan clients through lead providers (agents and originators) and personal marketing and people engagement opportunities.
Utilize appropriate needs analysis-based selling techniques to switch clients from other financial institutions or offer them new home finance packages that are tailor-made and accompanied by exceptional service.A.
Source potential clients1.
Create a strong network of potential clients through ongoing partnering and relationship building using proactive prospecting methods.2.
Implement proven and measurable reactive methods:(1) Referral campaigns, (2) Personal marketing opportunities (Shows, Expos, Mall campaigns, etc.
), (3) Email campaigns, (4) Corporate presentations, (5) Networking, (6) Call duties, (7) Social activities, (8) SAPTG letters, (9) Flyers, (10) Open House Days.B.
Identify needs1.
Identify the primary financial and emotional needs of potential clients by asking open-ended questions and actively listening to their responses.2.
Pre-qualify potential clients by understanding their background and linking it to the credit matrix.3.
Identify financial problems/challenges faced by potential clients and their impacts.4.
Retain details of clients who do not qualify for future follow-up.C.
Match relevant product package to relevant need1.
Present product package features and benefits that meet the client's needs and solve their problems using outstanding product knowledge.2.
Explain the application processing procedure to potential clients.3.
Apply the correct credit criteria when assessing files.4.
Draft motivations and explanations of any abnormalities for better understanding.D.
Explain the LOA (Final Grant) and close the deal1.
Explain all important figures, conditions, and terminology in the LOA.2.
Close the deal by summarizing the benefits of the product package as it relates to the identified need and asking for the business.E.
Maintain customer contact and Follow-up1.
Update clients on every step of the process after the deal is concluded.2.
Accurately and clearly explain answers to clients' questions.3.
Maintain contact with clients even after the LOA is signed.4.
Get referrals from clients upon signing the LOA.F.
Applications capture and file construction1.
Complete and capture applications.2.
Acquire supporting documents and package the file for Branch Admin.Own car/transport essentialDriver's LicenseMatricMin.
2 years proven track record in sales (sales leagues/rankings; records & achievements).
Must have operated in an environment that requires proactive prospecting (a hunter) and worked in a pressurized sales environment.
