Primarily through prospect identification, sphere of influence analysis, and prospect research, s/he will create donor profiles and uncover existing and new donors and prospects critical to funding Latin America's priorities. S/he must also be able to distill and convey information in a targeted and compelling way for Development leadership and other Conservancy staff.WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOUThe Prospect Research Analyst will work as part of the Latin America Development team. S/he will be responsible for conducting proactive and reactive research and collaborating with key stakeholders using advanced strategies that support a large, decentralized fundraising operation in a campaign.Responsibilities & ScopeAct independently within broad program goals to prioritize tasks in the absence of specific instructions and exercise independent judgement to identify and solve simple problems.Maintain the research library updated and ensure BBCRM accounts indicate the availability of research.Oversee preparing profiles, SOI´s and topic research to support the identification and cultivation process.Support providing data to enhance the prospect/suspects strategies and attend strategy calls as needed.Revise and identify network events for the team to attend with fundraising perspective.Revise and identify grants opportunities for the indirect and direct portfolio of the Team.Build reports, analysis, and research to support US engagement strategy.Engage with US/Global Prospect Research to align best practices and share information.Demonstrate sensitivity in handling confidential information.Ensure compliance with TNC policies and procedures, and external (donor/legal/IRS) requirements.Manage client relationships and follow up on projects with several variables, set realistic deadlines, manage a timeline, and ensure accountability.Provide input through project teams for the development and implementation of new initiatives or the improvement of existing programs.Travel occasionally and work overtime as needed.What You'll BringBachelor's degree and 2-year related experience or equivalent combination.Experience generating reports and analyzing and interpreting data.Experience working across departments and with cross functional teams.Experience with current technology in prospect research.Fluent in English and Portuguese or Spanish.Desired QualificationsMulti-lingual skills and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience are appreciated.Ability to analyze information for the purpose of coordinating and planning activities and solving problems.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.What We BringTNC offers competitive and comprehensive benefits packages tailored to the individual countries where we work.
