About The Role The role involves supporting the Supply Chain Coordinator and Operations Team by managing requisitions for goods and services.Responsibilities include placing and monitoring purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and quality.The candidate will be responsible for ongoing communication with brokers and vendors, as well as maintaining updated systems regarding prices and vendor data.The job requires monitoring the import process to meet deadlines and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.The candidate will also be tasked with issuing export documents and managing customs releases for import and export processes.Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a degree in Business, Logistics, International Business, or equivalent experience.A minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing, supplier development, and international logistics within multinational companies is essential.Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written, are required for effective collaboration with brokers and vendors.The candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.Experience in implementing process improvements and knowledge of purchasing strategies for strategic sourcing will be beneficial.
