The Coordinator of Indirect Purchasing (Industrial & Logistics) is responsible for developing and executing purchasing strategies, tracking metrics to reduce expenses, negotiating deals, and managing global vendors, contracts and performance for Nissan South America Region.As a leadership position, is also responsible to ensure clear requirements, forecast market trends, mitigate risks, and collaborate with stakeholders.Delivery Performance (cost reduction)Delivery Quality: Negotiating and tracking Contracts Service Level Agreement with Suppliers.Reduce risks and ensure the security of supply: Monitoring and Developing the Best in Class Commodity Supplier Panel at a Regional and Global Level (Financial and Capacity assessments).Manage relationships: With internal stakeholders such as Sales, Finance, Logistics, Engineering, Legal and Manufacturing to ensure that they are all aligned; But also with external stakeholders such as Regional/Global Suppliers and Truck Carriers Union.Pursue innovation and leverage technology: Identify technology solutions and best practices to improve Purchasing process and procedures.Compliance: Ensure the application of Nissan Policies related to Purchasing activity.Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, setting objectives, and fostering a high-performing team culture.Education:Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).Knowledge and Experience:Minimum 5 years proven experience in procurement, specifically in commodities sourcing for the automotive industry, with a focus on leadership roles.Proven Experience and Performance in managing complex negotiations with Vehicle Outbound suppliers and Union (mandatory).Proven Experience and Performance in managing international negotiations with Shipping Companies.Proven Experience dealing with Brazil and Argentina contracts, suppliers and internal functions such as logistics, manufacturing, finance, sales, etc (mandatory).Proven Experience managing Purchasing Outsource Companies.Strong leadership and team management skills.Exceptional negotiation and contract management abilities.Softwares and skills:Proficiency in procurement software and advanced Microsoft Office skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.Proven track record of driving cost savings and process improvements in commodity procurement.Language:Advanced level of English is mandatoryAdvanced level of Spanish is desirableLocation:Curitiba or São PauloNissan hires based on the fulfillment of the job profile in the vacancy, without distinction or discrimination based on gender, gender identity and / or expression, sexual orientation, race, color, language, religion, political or any other opinion, national or social origin, economic position, birth or any other condition.São José Dos Pinhais Paraná Brazil
