For 20 years, we've loved telling the story of how data makes businesses smarter, and we all share an obsession with customer service and a passion for changing the status quo.KPI Digital is looking for a Mid-Senior QA & Test Engineer who has worked on complex commercial software solutions.ObjectiveActively participate in designing and implementing testing scenarios, conducting tests before product and feature launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs.ResponsibilitiesEssential day-to-day QA responsibilities include:Promoting quality within the organization.Develop use-cases and test scenarios, perform functional, performance, and automated software testing on desktop commercial applications.Cooperate with software development engineers, end users, and business analysts.Interaction with software development engineers to troubleshoot problems discovered during the testing process.Development of general and detailed testing documentation, End-User documentation, Bug Reports, and Release notes.Creating UAT documentation and performing UAT process with the client.Essential day-to-day support responsibilities include:Provide technical support for enterprise-level application systems.Managing, classifying, and responding to technical support tickets.Troubleshoot issues reported by the customers in live production environments and provide logs and configuration details to reproduce the issue to development team.Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify potential solutions for how to resolve an issue.Prioritize, document, and report open issues troubleshooting progresses.Direct communication with the client to find out the nature of the issued problem.Establishing the root causes of application errors and escalating serious concerns.Have a strong DevOps and security mindset:Ensure technology standards, patterns, and practices are understood and implemented.Standardized solution stability, QA, UAT, Load, and Stress Testing.Work very closely with the pm, business & technical team and copywriters to ensure best practices for User & training documentation (input) + Technical documentation (drive related to your role).As we are a consulting firm, from time to time you may be called on to support other clients/projects as needed.Critical Competencies and Profile5-7+ years of relevant work exp as QA & Support Engineer.University Degree in the field of IT.Knowledge of Agile testing methodologies and techniques.Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.Knowledge of the Software Development Process.Knowledge of system monitoring tools such as Nagios.Knowledge of application monitoring tools such as Rollbar or Sentry.Adaptable technical knowledge and ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time.Good written and verbal communication skills.Passion for quality, performance, reliability, and stay up-to-date with test strategies, monitoring tools, and technology.Experience in security, performance, and automation testing is a plus.Bilingual: Fluent in English.
