Qa (Testing) Automation Engineer

ITTConnect is seeking a Software QA (Testing) Automation Engineer to fill a position with one of our US clients.
This is a position with a client that is a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services present in nearly 50 countries.
Job location : Remote, work from home anywhere in Brazil .
Must speak English .
All interviews will be done in English, as well as the work after that.
Requirements: At least 5+ years of experience with software testing automation tools.
Hands-on experience with writing scripts for Selenium (with Java) .
Knowledge of different SDLC phases and understanding of Testing phases Experience in programming language(s) ex.
Java, or Python, or JavaScript etc.
Experience in databases ex: Oracle, SQL, etc.
Experience in modern web applications architecture – Microservices, APIs e.g.
SOAP, REST Experience with source control, build and deployment tools such as Jenkins, Maven, GIT Experience with handling Client Interactions Good English skills for call, emails, meetings.
Tools and software : Selenium / Cucumber / TestNG / JMeter / Cypress / Protractor, etc.
Bitbucket, GIT REST tools – POSTMAN, SOAPUI, Chrome REST Client IDE – IntelliJ, Eclipse, VS Code HP ALM / JIRA/ QMetry DevOps tools Database – Oracle, SQL Server etc.
Nice to have : Knowledge of Automation frameworks ex: TestNG, Robot, Cucumber, or any other standard framework and integration with open-source libraries or tools ex: Selenium.
Experience of Functional Testing, Integration Testing, End to End Testing, Regression Testing Knowledge of CI/CD tools ex: Jenkins to integrate the Automation scripts Knowledge of Automation planning, Status Reporting.
Cable/Telecommunication Industry domain knowledge and working experience Benefits: None (PJ contract).
