Job Description:The qualified candidate will be able to:Contribute to product verification and Quality Assurance of a state-of-the-art security software productEnsure test environments are prepared and ready for execution of test scenariosManual verification of network equipment products for releasesDocument defects and tracking resolutionsDevelop test plans and perform testing according to a risk-based test methodologyExecute regression testing to validate defect resolution and verify existing functionality is unaffectedDevelop automated tests for regression in Python on a Linux environment and reproduction of defectsContribute for developing, and maintaining Jenkins-based automated regression testing scriptsWork in agile development processesAlways consider quality and testing at all stages of product developmentOther responsibilities as assignedBasic Qualifications:Required:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience3+ years of full-time professional experience with Software Testing and Quality Assurance, and Testing MethodologiesExperience with developing and testing feature test plansExperience with Linux-based systemKnowledge of PythonGeneral understanding of software development processes Strong technical skills, work ethic, problem solving ability, and overall positive attitude Familiarity with Atlassian products is helpful (JIRA)Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage priorities with deadlinesExcellent oral and written communication skillsAdvantageous to have:Experience with testing and developing automation TestsExposure to Automated testing tools and frameworks (Robot framework)Knowledge of JenkinsSome experience in the verification of network equipment products, such as cybersecurity equipment, firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems, routers, or switches
