In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions.
You will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve issues, ensuring that the products meet the highest standards of quality before launch.Primary Job Duties:Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for web applicationsExecute tests to ensure software qualityIdentify, document, and track software defects and inconsistenciesCollaborate with developers to resolve issues and improve product qualityPerform regression testing after code changesAnalyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholdersStay updated with the latest testing tools and methodologiesParticipate in all aspects of the software development lifecycleRequired Skills and Competencies:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experienceProven experience as a QA Engineer or similar roleStrong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processesExperience with manual testing techniques for web applicationsExperience with automated testing tools is a plusFamiliarity with Agile frameworks and regression testingUnderstanding of web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScriptExperience with RESTful APIs and backend servicesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills and attention to detailFamiliarity with the Shopify platform and e-commerce is a plus
