Join us at Landis+Gyr, where we manage energy better! Main Activities: Responsible for setting-up and delivering the Project Quality Plan including a flawless PPAP. Identify and act on the weak points and risks during the development phase of the product. Rank the maturity of the project/design and resulting product in terms of Quality. Respond to customer quality complaints and solve problems. Implement lessons learned for improvements. Purpose and Objective: During Design Phase: Supporting product design projects by facilitating quality management methods, techniques, and tools to ensure high-quality product, system or solution is delivered. Actively support Product Development Process (PDP) in the disciplines SW, FW, and HW, challenging the content results, trying to simulate worst-case conditions under which the process or the deliverables fail. Provide guidance for technical, legal, and regulatory compliance. Work on project quality deliverables starting with project quality plan compilation and follow-through in execution by conducting quality reviews, plus facilitation of PPAP activities, against the product/design requirements. Post-Production Release: Act on customers' quality management processes, manage/lead CAPAs/8Ds and customer-facing activities regarding quality cases. Ensure quality-and-fast responses and that turn-around time targets are achieved. Execute analysis of field returns and of internal testing results to promote product reliability improvement. Support contracts warranty clauses analysis. Implement lessons learned and best practices sharing to continuously improve products and processes. Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks. Required Experience: Experience with a tracked record in a quality role, preferably in design/product-related activities. Well experienced in quality tools and methods, and their application (APQP, PPAP, D/PFMEA, risk management, 8D). Experienced in root cause analysis, problem-solving techniques, and on proposing and implementing continuous improvement/preventative and corrective actions. Experience in Hardware, embedded SW (FW), and Devices development; and in Solutions application for industrial systems. Experience in customer-facing roles, especially in problem-solving, services/technical support, or commercial interfaces. Ability to work autonomously in a global environment, lead/act cross-functionally and communicate across the organization. Educational / Professional Qualifications: Required Minimum Level of Education: Bachelor, preferred Degree in engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics or related areas. Six Sigma Green Belt and Project Management skills as differentiation. Advanced English.
