**1. Job Overview**
- As a R&D Analyst, you will participate in customer-related projects and/or platform projects, from the idea to the implementation phase, supporting all market segments. You will participate in product development for the AFLA region. You will interact with product development engineers, process engineers, quality, analysts, and the analytical laboratory team from other Amcor innovation centers.
In addition, you will interact with and strongly support the PDE in the scope of new product development projects, reverse engineering, cost initiatives, conducting laboratory tests, collecting, and helping analyse CTQ data.

**3. Principal Accountabilities**
**Key Responsibilities**
**Internal Project Work**:
- Support and monitor the progress of new packaging and experimental orders projects within the innovation pipeline, collaborating/interacting with Product Development Engineers and with areas such as Operations, Quality, Process Engineering.
- Participate in cross functional teams within AFLA and other regions involved with the Project.
- Contribute to the definition of critical to quality specifications, author development technical specifications, waivers, etc.
- Support Stage Gate programs while learning core risk management principles and processes, developing mitigation plans within the cross functional teams.
- Conduct a systematic analysis of the use of raw materials in aging, thus reducing costs with storage and losses of the company for unused products.
- Prepare presentations and reports for customers, understanding their needs, specifics and expectations.
- Maintain a flow of communication with commercial and marketing to ensure the correct scope and needs of the client.
- Will be responsible for managing administrative tasks at INOVA, including organizing and maintaining the laboratory space and equipments.

- Demonstrate basic technical skills and aptitude for problem solving;
- Understanding of SFDC/TaskRay towards a standardized PM language, process and best practice around the globe;
- Gain knowledge of the intellectual property system and information management, in order to protect Amcor's intellectual property.

**6. Qualifications/Requirements**
**6.1 Formal Qualifications, Experience and Education**
- Bachelor's degree required, technical or chemical preferred;
- Certification: professional registration as a chemist CRQ is mandatory;
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment and analytical processes
- Language skills: English mandatory and Spanish (preferred);
- Previous internship or industry experience preferred
