**Responsibilities**:
**What will you work on**:
The Operation Excellence analyst plays a key role, ensuring the high quality of R&D documentation and the global ingredient standard, while accelerating digital transformation, integrating and harmonizing R&D business processes throughout the LATAM region.
**Accountabilities**
- Ensure the integrity and high quality of ingredients, products and processes Documentation, in partnership with the Product Developers and TDC, for Innovation, Productivity and Business Continuity agenda, ensuring full compliance with the requirements of the Technical Stage Gate, for the Food category, in South America.
- Execute and comply with the requirements of the Global Ingredient Standards (GIS/PQP) by building a strong connection with external suppliers and documenting new or existing ingredient specifications.
- Replicate and Load specifications into SAP PLM or other system
- Bring digital solutions to simplify R&D ways of working
- Execute plans to ensure R&D Data Sustain and CAST adoption in Brasil, SOCO and Andean
- Manage workflows in the systems, mainly in SAP
- Support the qualification and approval of suppliers according to the global quality protocol (SQA)
- Work with external suppliers to ensure compliance with ingredients, product and process specifications
- Write specifications of raw materials, semi-finished, finished products and process
- Work with Project Leaders to ensure that project timeline compliance
- Lead projects of low and medium complexity in order to have a critical experience as a product developer
- Support operational training related to new technology or product
- Flexibility to coordinate industrial, pilot plant or laboratory tests for new products, processes and/or equipment (or adaptations to existing ones)
- Participate in project meetings of the functional team
- Ensure LatAm process harmonization in collaboration with the OpEx team based in Mexico
- Ensure the confidentiality of R&D information and company strategy.
Qualifications:
**Who are we looking for?**
- Research and Development or Process area with interface with R&D - minimum experience of 5 years
- Technical Degree (Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Production Engineering and others)
- Experience in managing SAP (PLM and/or ERP); from 1 to 2 years.
- Experience in R&D, Continuous Process Improvement, Data Analytics or related area.
- Desirable technical knowledge on the Snacks, Cookies & Crackers, Dairy and/or Grains platform.
- Language: English and Spanish (min intermediate)
- Intellectual and technical curiosity
- Knowledge of local food legislation
- Knowledge in Food Safety, HACCP, Allergens
