ANP requires Oil Companies based in Brazil to ensure full compliance with the 1% levy obligation through local and eligible R&D investments.Brazil is considered a key country within TotalEnergies to deliver R&D projects related to Power and to achieve the Company's technological ambitions.Job Dimensions: The position shall contribute to both TotalEnergies Power Technological Ambitions and the EP Brazil delivery of the ANP 1% Levy obligation generated by company gross revenues.Participate in the delivery of a multi-million-dollar portfolio of R&D projects.Contribute to the development of renewables in Brazil and the growing footprint of TotalEnergies to become a clean energy provider (Wind Onshore, Wind Offshore, Solar, Storage systems, Hybrid Systems).Act as an ambassador of TotalEnergies R&D efforts towards cleaner energies in Brazil.Support the R&D Power Lead in maintaining effective relationships with local authorities (ANP, ONS, IBAMA).Understand the complexity of multiple technology solutions and support the integration of project deliverables into existing TotalEnergies tools.Ensure compliance with the HSE Management System, aligned with One Maestro Principles, and safeguard the integrity of people while preserving the environment and resources by contributing to improved energy efficiency and decarbonization of the Company's assets and reputation.Ensure TTEPBR compliance with legislative and internal requirements relating to HSE, and that all R&D activities conducted in Brazil are carried out with an acceptable level of HSE.Conduct technical, financial, and progress follow-up of ongoing and future R&D Power projects in Brazil, focusing on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Science technologies, with the objectives of reducing uncertainties in forecasts and yield energy modeling, PV systems models, and Wind systems models.Support the optimization of power systems design considering techno-economic parameters.Interact daily with Accredited Institutions and Brazilian Companies to monitor, challenge, support, and steer researchers to ensure solid project delivery.Liaise with TotalEnergies headquarters (OneTech/R&D/Power and technical experts) to successfully integrate R&D project outcomes into the company's knowledge base.Prepare and review all ANP documentation associated with the projects.Timely contribute to, prepare, and/or release internal R&D reports to local management or headquarters and comply with TotalEnergies headquarters R&D/POWER project progress monitoring processes (Symphony, PPMC).Support R&D projects aimed at reducing the overall LCOE (Levelized Cost of Energy) based on CAPEX and OPEX market values.Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in electrical engineering (Simulation and numerical optimization, Data Science & Artificial Intelligence).A minimum of 10 years' experience in an R&D environment.Previous experience in the academic environment, R&D, and with ANP R&D regulations is a plus.Managerial skills to coordinate projects with Accredited Institutions and Brazilian Companies.Excellent technical analysis, interpersonal, oral, and written communication, organization, and presentation skills.Portuguese and English are mandatory.
