Deliver annual operating plans (AOP) Innovation, Brand Stewardship, Revenue Management, Sustainability and Productivity initiatives while driving executional excellence in region-specific category agendas. Leverage Technical Stage Gate (TSG) and SAP-Specification processes through project life cycles. This role partners with R&D Region Foods Leaders and category business leaders to ensure flawless deployment of innovation solutions across the portfolio. Activities include leading local packaging strategies, executing global initiatives into the region, influencing senior leaders, balances short term decisions with long term, researches and evaluates new items and technologies to be implemented in the business. Your Impact Deliver annual operating plans (AOP) Innovation, Brand Stewardship, Revenue Management, Sustainability, Productivity and DTV initiatives while driving executional excellence in region-specific category agendas; Align team to deliver Packaging Innovation and Productivity agenda for the Region, coordinating and aligning requirements of the R&D Packaging Team with the Region Business and Operations team leads; Coordinate and manage Region Packaging issues and opportunities (compliance, customer engagements, promotions, specification changes, etc.) and serve as the R&D Region Packaging liaison to R&D Global Functions, Governance & Compliance (Food Safety, QA, Regulatory Affairs, Nutrition Sciences); Partner with Region and Global Sustainability teams to advance Packaging's Pep+ agenda and position Region for adaptation to support PepsiCo's Greenhouse Gas reduction goals; Interface with Region Business leaders and be the face/voice of the global R&D Packaging team; Provide input to Region Strategic Deep Dive planning and ensure the integration of R&D resource needs are incorporated in Region financial rollups; Manage team to lead packaging innovation through Region's Technical Stage Gate process; Support Global Function activities with SMEs that are embedded within Region team; Facilitate transition of global packaging innovation and productivity into the region; Prioritize the regional Reframe and Refresh projects, and manage resources in accordance with the Region R&D budget; Drive future Region Efficiencies to fund expanded Packaging Function Capacity/Investments with increased business impact; Partner closely with functional peers and cross functional partners on technology development and deployment timelines, playbooks, and validation of pilot results. Who Are We Looking For? BS in Engineering or Packaging Technology; Critical experience, engage in Packaging Innovation, Productivity and Business Strategy to define new packaging platforms and execute the packaging productivity and sustainability development projects; Knowledge of packaging trends and key competitors, stay abreast of new and emerging technologies in packaging materials, production processes for packaging, and safety guidelines and worldwide regulations on materials; Experience developing new packages and printing technologies, and transfer them to high production volume into a world class manufacturing facility; Proficiency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English; Required to live in Sorocaba location.
