Purpose of the Job
We seek a Researcher motivated and passionate about biological control of insects to be part of our team in Brazil based in Campinas-SP.
The next team member in Brazil must have strong teamwork skills, resilience, flexibility, a spirit of cooperation and attention to detail.
And of course, a lot of communication!
Solid experience working in R&D with insects is important, as well as the willingness to change the world for the better.
This is a great opportunity to work with a dedicated and enthusiastic team at a pioneer biotechnology company for insect control.
**Responsibilities**:
- Set up of experiments, assessment and data collection of R&D studies in the field.
- Accurate data recording in lab notebooks and digital files.
- Data analysis and experimental design.
- Prepare reports for the BR and UK leadership, as well as present results/updates in weekly meetings with UK colleagues.
- Support the activities in the laboratory, such as organization and general maintenance of the work environment.
- Occasional support for experiments on weekends as part of a rotation within the team.
Skills, Experience, and Education Requirements
- PhD/Master's degree in entomology, biology, agronomy, or related areas.
- Solid experience in R&D, preferable with insects
- Solid experience with data analysis and experimental design
- Time flexibility - for weekends and holidays
- Advanced English
