Senior Research & Development Manager Responsible for managing the Formula Development team acting in Global launch projects for Deodorants and Soaps. Accountable for planning and prioritizing resources (personnel and budget) to ensure the initiation and continuity of projects. From a technical perspective, defines global formulation strategies for Deo and Soaps - taking into account cost, manufacturing processes, communication, product stability, and safety. Collaborates with Marketing on product assortment strategies and provides support in the development of product concepts. Responsibilities Manage project pipeline: Accountable for planning and prioritizing resources (personnel and budget) to ensure the initiation and continuity of Deo and Soap projects. Technically: defines global formulation strategies for Deo and Soaps - taking into account cost, manufacturing processes, communication, product stability, and safety. Deo and Soap concepts and assortment: Collaborates with Marketing on product assortment, as well as provides support for product concepts. Engagement with Stakeholders: Facilitate regular exchanges and discussions with global stakeholders (Marketing, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Safety, etc.), with a focus on key markets, including Germany, Latin America, India, and Asia. Strategic Support: Assist the director in establishing strategic directions and objectives. Execute strategic initiatives within projects and manage KPIs related to global sustainability targets, project management, and cost savings/avoidance relevant to Deo and Soap and projects under your oversight. Leadership: Empower, support, promote, and train team members in their careers. Create a development plan for all team members. Participate in talent reviews and the annual performance review with other managers. Share constructive feedback with all team members. Has the ability to teach and supervise the team's activities, serving as a reference in technical topics and project management. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, or related fields. Minimum of 9 years' experience in research and development, preferably in the cosmetics sector In-depth knowledge of cosmetic raw materials and formulations, preparation processes and analysis methodologies In-depth knowledge of the internal stages of product development and launches People management and cross-functional teams Fluent English Extra point: Expatriation contract possible
