As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and driven Mechanical Technician to join our team.About the Role : As an R&D Technician , you will install, operate, test, and maintain manufacturing equipment, including automated and robotic parts, integral to our solid rocket motor propellant production facilities.You'll know you're successful in this role when you've identified blockers, guided processes to address anomalies and performance shortfalls, and met schedule goals regarding installation, commissioning, and deployment of components, sub-assemblies, and top-level facilities.To thrive in this role, you must have demonstrated success in mechanical hardware installation, repair, and selection and/or electrical/instrumentation/controls/data expertise.
An aptitude for hands-on assembly and integration is required and is best shown by your work history and passions when off the clock.Required Skills & Qualifications:3+ years' experience with installation/testing/commissioning of mechanical, electrical/controls, and fluidic systems/facilitiesExperience servicing pumps, mixers, heat exchangers, ovens, precision flow meters, instrumentation, data acquisition, power supplies, PLC panels, etc.Familiarity with Solidworks CAD and PDM or equivalentExperience working in multidisciplinary teams of ~5 engineers/techniciansDemonstrated electro/mechanical hands-on dis-assembly/assembly and troubleshooting aptitudeMust be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearanceMust be a US Person as defined by § 120.62 of the ITARX-Bow is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applicants from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
