It's our R&D teams that ensure our company stays at the forefront of innovation, investigating and making use of the latest technology in order to enable Electrolux to keep delivering outstanding experiences.What you'll do:As a Product Development Engineer you will develop and improve specifications, create and execute test procedures, provide technical support for new supplier development, and engage in technical negotiations for these developments based on Electrolux criteria.
The focus is on electromechanical components used in washing machines, such as valves, actuators, motors, and pumps.
If you have great analytical and collaborative skills, are always up to date with the latest technologies and trends, and need a place to exercise all of your creativity, this is your chance!We can help you reach places higher than ever before - and you will be able to help shape lives for the better, one product at a time.In detail, you will:Develop and refine specifications for electromechanical components used in washing machines, dryers, and dishwashers, ensuring compliance with functional, performance, and safety requirements;Perform verification and validation tests to ensure the reliability and functionality of components;Contribute to the design and proposal of accelerated test rigs to validate the reliability of electromechanical components;Participate in failure analysis and continuous improvement of products and processes, ensuring the best cost for alternative suppliers aligned with R&D, Quality, and Procurement strategies;Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to develop alternative suppliers to improve cost and quality while adhering to Electrolux quality standards;Prepare and review technical documentation in English, including specifications, test reports, and procedures;Support the homologation of components with global suppliers.As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/C2W).Who you are:You have:Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related fields.Experience in developing electromechanical components, ideally in appliances or automation.Knowledge in analog and digital electronic circuits.Knowledge in laboratory testing using oscilloscopes, multimeters, capacitive, inductive, and resistive sensors, as well as data acquisition systems and other measurement instruments.Basic knowledge in embedded programming (C, C++, or Python) is a plus.Analytical skills for problem-solving and decision-making.Advanced Office skills;Advanced English.Where you'll be:You will be based at the Guabirotuba plant in Curitiba.
